Beta Program Terms
These terms govern participation in the Starpolar® private beta program. By applying to or participating in the beta, you agree to these Beta Program Terms in addition to the general website terms.
1. Application and Selection
Submitting a beta application does not create a right to access the beta program. Selection is discretionary and may be limited by testing capacity, platform requirements, product priorities, or internal evaluation criteria.
We may reject or remove applications that are incomplete, unclear, inconsistent, duplicated, or appear inauthentic, including registrations using suspicious names, unusual email patterns, automated submissions, or unverifiable information.
Acceptance confirmation is required before any person is considered an active beta participant.
2. Eligibility and Accounts
You must provide a valid email address and maintain access to it to receive invites and beta communications.
You are responsible for keeping your beta account information accurate. One person may not create multiple beta accounts for the purpose of gaining additional rewards or access.
If you are under the age required to create an account in your jurisdiction, you must not participate unless you have obtained legally valid consent from a parent or legal guardian. Starpolar® may request confirmation where necessary.
3. Confidentiality and Restricted Use
Beta builds, features, visuals, functionality, communications, and documentation are confidential unless explicitly marked public by Starpolar®.
- Do not share beta access, links, builds, files, screens, recordings, internal information, or any private program details with third parties.
- Do not copy, publish, sublicense, sell, or otherwise reuse beta materials outside your personal testing participation.
- Do not attempt reverse engineering, decompilation, scraping, automated extraction, circumvention of technical limitations, or security testing beyond what we explicitly request.
Unauthorized sharing or misuse can lead to immediate removal from the program and may result in legal enforcement where applicable.
4. Program Discretion and Removal
Starpolar® may reject, suspend, restrict, or terminate beta participation at any time, including without stating a reason.
This discretion applies before acceptance, during the beta period, and after test phases where access or program status must be adjusted for operational, security, compliance, quality, or product reasons.
5. Pre Release Status and Data Risk
Beta software is pre release and provided as is. Features may be unstable, incomplete, changed, or removed at any time without prior notice.
Do not rely on beta builds for critical tasks, important reminders, medical or safety related decisions, or as your only storage for important data.
You are responsible for maintaining your own backups where applicable. Starpolar® does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, data continuity, feature persistence, or compatibility during beta operation, to the extent permitted by law.
6. Feedback and Final Survey
Participants are expected to provide truthful, accurate, and meaningful feedback during testing and in the final beta survey.
The final beta survey must be completed in good faith, factually, and with sufficient detail to be evaluable. Incomplete, misleading, irrelevant, abusive, or low quality submissions may be treated as non compliant for reward eligibility purposes.
7. Feedback License
By submitting feedback, ideas, suggestions, bug reports, recordings, screenshots, or other materials, you grant Starpolar® a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable, royalty free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative works from, distribute, and display that feedback for any purpose, including improving and marketing the product, without compensation to you.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the feedback and that it does not violate any third party rights.
8. Diagnostics, Telemetry, and Communications
During the beta, Starpolar® may collect and process diagnostic information to improve stability and performance, such as crash reports, basic device and app version information, and beta feedback content. The exact data categories and purposes are described in the Privacy Policy.
Some platforms may also provide diagnostic or usage information through their own beta systems. By participating, you agree that such platform provided data may be available to Starpolar® to the extent the platform supports it.
Beta communications may be sent to the email address you provided. You may opt out of non essential updates, but critical messages related to security or program operation may still be sent where permitted by law.
9. Reward Eligibility and User ID Requirements
The stated reward of 3 months of Starpolar Plus is conditional and not automatic. Reward eligibility requires all of the following:
- Confirmed acceptance into the beta program.
- Compliance with these Beta Program Terms during participation.
- Adequate and truthful completion of the final beta survey.
- Correct and verifiable account identification, including the proper user ID associated with the enrolled beta account.
If the relevant account data or user ID is missing, incorrect, inconsistent, duplicated, or cannot be matched to the enrolled participant, reward credit may be withheld until resolved, or denied where verification is not possible.
Details on data processing in the beta program, including reward matching identifiers and retention periods, are provided in the Privacy Policy.
If you are unsure what your user ID is, contact us and we will tell you what we need to verify your account.
10. Reward Timing and Limitations
Where granted, the reward is credited to the enrolled beta account user ID only and is strictly non-transferable.
The 3-month period starts on the official public release date and runs continuously from that date. It cannot be deferred, paused, shifted to a later date, exchanged for cash, or transferred to another account or person.
Starpolar® may modify or withdraw the reward program for future applicants at any time. Changes do not retroactively reduce rewards already granted to verified eligible participants, unless required by law or to prevent fraud or abuse.
If tax obligations apply in your jurisdiction, you are responsible for them.
11. Beta Duration and Notice
The beta currently has no fixed end date. If an end date is defined, active testers will be notified at least 7 days in advance.
Separate from global beta timeline notices, individual participation can still be ended at any time under Section 4.
12. Acceptable Conduct
You agree not to harass others, submit abusive content, or attempt to disrupt the beta program or Starpolar® services.
We may remove participants who behave abusively, repeatedly ignore instructions, or use the beta to attempt exploitation or unauthorized access.
13. Email Consistency and Account Matching
For iOS TestFlight and Google Play testing, you should use the email address of the Apple ID or Google Account that you will actually use to accept the invite and install the beta build.
For reward verification, the email used for the beta application should match the email used to create and use your Starpolar® in app account during the beta.
Avoid using email aliasing or forwarding setups that may change the visible address, including iCloud Private Relay or similar relay services, if this would cause your app account email to differ from your application email.
If the application email, platform invite email, and in app account email do not match, reward credit may be delayed or denied if Starpolar® cannot reliably verify the enrolled participant and the correct user ID.
14. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Starpolar® is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profit, revenue, business, or goodwill arising out of or related to the beta.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for intent or gross negligence where applicable.
15. Governing Law
These Beta Program Terms are governed by the law of the jurisdiction of Starpolar®'s business seat, excluding its conflict of laws rules. Mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence remain unaffected.
