It started with a question.

At 17, I wanted more than separate apps for every part of life. That idea became Starpolar: now an app, a registered business, and a collection taking shape.

  1. A problem before a product

    Planning, training, nutrition, calendars, and money all lived in separate apps. Starpolar began with a simple question: why could these parts of life not work together?

  2. From notes to a system

    The first concepts mapped how routines, plans, workouts, meals, shopping, and finances could share context. It was not a finished app yet, but the direction was clear.

  3. Learning by building

    I started turning the concept into a real app and taught myself Flutter and Firebase between classes, exams, evenings, and weekends. My dad joined when the backend became more than one person could handle.

  4. Testing, listening, rebuilding

    Early versions went to friends and family. Their feedback exposed confusing flows, missing pieces, and bugs, so whole parts were rebuilt before Starpolar was ready for more people.

  5. Protecting the name

    I filed Starpolar as a European Union trademark. It was the first formal step toward building a brand that could last beyond the first app release.

  6. Eighteen, and officially in business

    On my 18th birthday, I registered the business behind Starpolar. The personal project now had an official commercial foundation.

  7. The public beta

    Version 0.6 opened the next beta phase with the Starpolar Assistant, a new onboarding flow, and a clearer product direction. Real use turned feedback into rapid fixes, and 0.6.1 followed the next day.

  8. From final exams to launch

    While preparing for my final exams, I finished release preparations and brought the last beta feedback into the app. Starpolar 1.0 then launched on iOS and Android.

  9. From personal to shared

    Households brought shared calendars, meal plans, shopping lists, and tasks into Starpolar. The system grew into something people could use together.

  10. Beyond the screen takes shape

    Essentials, Performance, and Editions are being built with the same direction as the app. The shop stays closed until the collection is ready.

A huge thank you to my dad for his constant help with the backend, to my friends for their honest feedback, and to my whole family for testing every single version. You made this real.

What is Starpolar?

Starpolar lets you choose the areas that matter to you and connect them in a personal productivity system.

Can I choose which areas I use in Starpolar?

Yes. Choose the areas that fit your life, use them on their own, and connect more whenever your system needs to grow.

Which platforms are supported?

Starpolar is available for iOS and Android.

What is the difference between free and Plus?

The free version covers core planning, routines, tasks, nutrition, and finances with no time limit. Plus removes caps and unlocks the smartest features.

How does Starpolar handle my data?

Local data is stored encrypted on your device. Optional sync uses Firebase Firestore. You can disable sync, delete specific data, or remove your account entirely from within the app. See the simple data overview.
