Delete Your Account
This page explains how to request deletion of a Starpolar account for the Starpolar app by Gabriel Battlogg. You can delete your account directly in the app or request deletion by contact form or email if you cannot access the app.
Delete in the app
- Open the Starpolar app.
- Go to the app settings.
- Use the account deletion option and confirm the request.
This is the fastest way to start the deletion process.
Delete by contact form or email
- Send your deletion request through our contact form or by email to hello@starpolar.app.
- Use the email address linked to your Starpolar account whenever possible.
- Complete the ownership verification if we ask for it.

Verification
To protect accounts against unauthorized deletion, we need to verify that the request comes from the account owner.
If we cannot verify account ownership, we may ask for additional proof of ownership before we process the request.
Data deleted
After a verified deletion request, we delete or anonymize the account data associated with your Starpolar account, including account profile data, account identifiers, synced planning data, nutrition data, app files stored in synced services, and subscription or entitlement records, unless a limited retention obligation applies.
Data temporarily retained
After we receive a verified deletion request, account associated data may be kept for up to 30 days to allow account restoration. After that period, the remaining account data is permanently deleted from our servers and synced storage.
Server-side security logs such as login and device logs are generally kept for up to 30 days. In exceptional cases, limited information may be retained for longer where required for legal obligations, fraud prevention, or the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims.
